Electric design, from the ground up

Range to go the distance

The E-GMP says goodbye to range anxiety by including a large battery option, offering 500km range in a single charge.

EVs for every lifestyle

The modular E-GMP concept accommodates a variety of vehicle types and lifestyles, using a standardised battery system and EV-first technology.

Peace of mind on the road

E-GMP embraces unique electric vehicle design characteristics such as short overhangs and a long wheelbase with collision safety, maximised passenger space, and battery safety.

Sustainability without limits

Sustainability credentials don't end with just fuel options, Hyundai has considered the impact of every part of production to produce world-leading electric vehicles.

This design brief has resulted in the seat, headlining, and carpet fabric including bio components extracted from sugar cane and corn, while the leather used in the interior is dyed using flaxseed oil, and fabric made from recycled PET bottles is used on the seats and door armrests.

Recycled PET fabric

We use high-quality fabric made from recycled PET plastic bottles on our seats and door armrests. The fabric is woven from up to 32 bottles that are shredded, melted down, and spun into fibres.

Natural, renewable materials

In addition to recycled plastic, our fabrics utilise bio components extracted from corn and sugarcane. Leather used in our interiors is dyed using natural flaxseed oil.

Bio paint

Hard surfaces such as the dashboard, switches, steering wheel, and door panels are coated with bio paint that includes oil extractions from plants such as rape flowers and corn.
