Imagine winning an Olympic bronze medal on your first try. That’s one of the many reasons we love and support Eliza McCartney, a serious pole vaulting athlete with medals from the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.
Sporting achievements aside, Eliza is an Environmental Science student with a passion for sustainability and taking positive action against climate change. With a passion for sustainability, and our growing range of Electric Vehicles and a future built on clean energy, bringing Eliza on board as the Hyundai ambassador for electric vehicles was a no-brainer.

Eliza's career
Eliza has competed in athletics all over the world, winning awards and breaking records by the time she was just 14 years old!
Speaking of which, she’s brought home quite the bit of metal for New Zealand as a part of both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games teams. Her first major international competition was the Rio Olympics, where she won bronze. Then, in the 2018 Commonwealth Games she took home silver.
