Hyundai Marine Sports Centre
The Hyundai Marine Sports Centre is a premium community and sporting hub on the shores of Okahu Bay, Auckland.
This vibrant facility was purpose-built to support sporting at all levels, and is now home to some of the city’s greatest watersports groups.
It’s also been a proving ground for international sporting talent, hosting the Hyundai 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17 World Championships, where Olympic Kiwi legends Peter Burling and Blair Tuke took home a gold medal.
Golf
Golf is one of the most played sport in New Zealand, with over half a million kiwis teeing off each year at one of the 390 clubs throughout the country.
We’ve been involved in the game since 2018, both at a professional level via the NZ Open, and grassroots through our partnership with Golf New Zealand. Together we are focused on growing golf here in New Zealand and adding real value to the local golfing community.
Over the summer months, we host a series of Hyundai Futures Festival events around the country, creating fun experiences for our children and young people that we hope will inspire a lifelong love of the sport. For members that play a little more regularly and are keen to monitor their progress each season, the Hyundai Stats Chat provides key insights into your game. Rally New Zealand
We have been committed to rallying in New Zealand for many years, and are thrilled to play a role in bringing this amazing world-class event to New Zealand. By entering a Hyundai New Zealand Rally team in the WRC2 programme this year, we are especially excited that Hyundai New Zealand ambassador Hayden Paddon will have the opportunity to compete on his home turf.
This will be the first Rally New Zealand that Hyundai will compete in with not one, but two Hyundai teams – Hyundai Motorsport in WRC1 and Hyundai New Zealand Rally in WRC2.
Crusaders
We're excited to take the field with the Crusaders in this year's 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season. The Crusaders were the Super Rugby 2022 Champions, winning their record 11th Super Rugby title!
Christchurch’s Gary Cockram Hyundai (GCH) has been the official vehicle provider and sponsor of the Crusaders since 2009. In 2019, we joined forces with GCH and became the principal sponsor featuring on the team’s home jersey from 2020 onwards.
