For Al, food is a vehicle for so much more than just taste or flavour. It’s conversation, it’s fun, it’s making memories. But Al’s passion takes him beyond the four walls of a kitchen. He presented TV shows such as Hunger for the Wild, Dishing Up Australia and Coasters, and has written numerous books.

Al is also an ambassador for Garden to Table - a programme to help children learn how to grow, harvest and prepare fresh food.
