Hyundai Roadside Assistance staff are fully qualified to assist Hyundai Owners by providing either general advice over the phone or in the unfortunate event of an emergency breakdown arrange for roadside assistance. Hyundai Roadside Assistance is a complimentary service that is provided with all new Hyundai vehicles and is valid for a period of the standard warranty coverage of up to 3-Years/100,000km (whichever occurs first) from the date of first registration. Selected models are eligible for an additional 2-Years/50,000km* roadside coverage.

 In the event of a roadside breakdown and the problem causing immobility is a minor mechanical or electrical breakdown, a Technician will be dispatched to your vehicle to effect an emergency repair at the roadside to rectify the problem and mobilise the vehicle. Once roadside assistance has been arranged and a Technician has been dispatched to your vehicle, you MUST stay with your vehicle until assistance arrives.

What can they help with?

FLAT BATTERY - Our approved mobile Technician will jump-start a flat battery. It is then recommended that you visit your nearest Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent to have your battery tested.

KEYS LOST OR LOCKED IN THE VEHICLE - Our approved mobile Technician will provide access to the vehicle. Where possible our approved Technician will re-open the vehicle. If the vehicle cannot be re-opened or started the vehicle will be transported to the nearest Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent.

PUNCTURED OR FLAT TYRE - Our approved mobile Technician will fit the spare wheel and provide a referral to a reliable tyre repairer or supplier. On certain models your vehicle may be equipped with a “Tyre Mobility Kit” (TMK) instead of a spare wheel, our approved Technician can assist with the use of this equipment if required (subject to flat tyre condition, if TMK can be used). If for any reason your flat tyre cannot be rectified roadside, your vehicle will be transported to the nearest Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent.

RUN OUT OF FUEL - Our approved mobile Technician will deliver approx. 5 litres of fuel free of charge.

 RUN OUT OF CHARGE (EVs) - Our approved mobile Technician will transport your EV to the nearest applicable charge point. eg: Public charging station, Hyundai Authorised Dealer/Service Agent or your home.

MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL BREAKDOWN - As a first option, a trained operator will try to provide over-the-phone advice to assist in getting the vehicle mobile. If this is not successful an approved mobile Technician will be dispatched to carry out an initial assessment and apply a temporary or minor repairs (if possible) to get the vehicle going. If it is not possible to get the vehicle mobile roadside, the mobile Technician, your vehicle will be transported to the nearest Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent for further diagnosis.

TOWING - If the vehicle, for any reason, is unable to be accessed, repaired or safely driven, the vehicle will be transported to the nearest Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent.

TOWED VEHICLES - Transportation will be provided for towed vehicles such as trailers, boats and caravans to the nearest secure facility deemed acceptable by the vehicle Owner/Driver. All storage and repatriation fees for the towed vehicles are the responsibility of the vehicle Owner/Driver.
