Hyundai Trucks New Zealand is pleased to announce the availability of the new Hyundai PAVISE 6x2, expanding the Hyundai truck range and providing operators with a versatile, high-capacity solution for freight, distribution and general transport applications.

The introduction of the PAVISE 6x2 reflects Hyundai Trucks' commitment to delivering modern commercial vehicles that combine productivity, efficiency, safety and driver comfort. Designed to meet the needs of New Zealand transport operators, the new configuration offers increased payload capability and greater operational flexibility, making it well suited to applications ranging from curtainsiders and furniture vans through to refrigerated and general freight bodies.

The PAVISE 6x2 is powered by Hyundai's 6.8 litre Euro VI diesel engine, producing 300PS and 1,079Nm of torque, delivering strong pulling power across a broad operating range. Combined with the latest generation 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, the powertrain is designed to optimise fuel efficiency, drivability and overall productivity. With a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 18,000 or 22,000kg and a Gross Combination Mass (GCM) of up to 31,000kg, the PAVISE 6x2 provides the payload capacity and flexibility required for a wide range of freight and distribution applications throughout New Zealand.

Further enhancing the PAVISE 6x2's suitability for freight and distribution applications is its 19.5-inch rear wheel package, which enables a lower chassis height for easier body access and more efficient loading and unloading. The truck is equipped with rear air suspension, delivering improved ride quality and helping protect both driver comfort and sensitive cargo. A lifting tag axle comes standard, allowing the axle to be raised when operating unladen or lightly loaded, reducing tyre wear and improving manoeuvrability in tight urban environments, customer yards, and loading facilities.

The PAVISE 6x2 also benefits from Hyundai's comprehensive SmartSense safety suite, bringing advanced driver assistance technologies to the medium-duty segment. Features including Active Emergency Braking assist, Lane Departure Warning and Electronic Stability Control are designed to assist drivers in preventing incidents and reducing fatigue, helping operators improve safety outcomes across their fleets.
