Veloster Technology
You can never be sure what other drivers might do on the road, so the Veloster's Forward Collision-Avoidance system activates the brakes if it detects sudden braking by another vehicle, cyclist or pedestrian directly ahead.
LKA provides steering intervention to assist the Veloster to stay in the centre of the lane. When the vehicle strays from the intended lane without indicators being activated, an audible and visual warning will be sounded.
Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)
Sometimes, when you look into your rear-view and side mirrors you can miss other vehicles in your blind spots. Thanks to Blind-Spot technology, these areas are constantly monitored, so when another vehicle is present, you are warned in two ways: a warning symbol illuminates in the side mirrors, and there’s an audible alert if the indicator is used and another vehicle is in your blind spot.
Heads Up Display (HUD)
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Wireless smartphone charging
Have all the most important information in clear sight with the advanced Heads Up Display (HUD) found on the Veloster Limited. The HUD is multi adjustable and can be retracted at a press of the button.
Having the right tyre pressure is more than just good for your tyres and fuel economy – it’s a safety issue too. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) displays the pressure for each individual tyre on the instrument cluster, warning the driver if pressure drops.
Advanced induction technology on Limited models lets you recharge your smartphone without connecting cables (compatible phone models only), and an alert is triggered should you ever leave your phone behind.
