Every new Hyundai is covered by our 3 year / 100,000km (whichever comes first) factory warranty to safeguard you against any unforeseen mechanical failures, manufacturing or assembly defects.
Hyundai Roadside Assistance is included as part of this. Should you have a breakdown, puncture a tyre or run out of fuel or charge, anywhere in New Zealand, we’ll send someone to get you up and running again – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you're interested in extending your warranty beyond the standard factory warranty period, we have several options below.
3 year / 100,000km Warranty FAQs
a) We find that its defects are due to careless handling, accidents or insufficient servicing and maintenance as specified in the owner's manual or service passport.
b) Its defects are due to use of non Genuine Hyundai parts or lubricants.
c) It has been modified without written approval from Hyundai.

5 year / 150,000km Extended Warranty on selected models
We offer an extended 5 year / 150,000km warranty programme on selected models registered from 1st January 2025 when a Hyundai service plan is purchased for the vehicle. Not only will you get the reassurance of extended warranty coverage and 24 hour roadside assistance, you will also see the benefits of scheduled servicing included in the package.

3. Your vehicle is one of the eligible models and its initial registration date is on or after 1 January 2025.
