Vehicle eligibility:

  • Your vehicle must be a Hyundai vehicle that was sold by an authorised Hyundai Dealer.
  • Available any time from the date of first registration of the vehicle.
  • The vehicle must be:.
    • less than 6 years old from the date of first registration AND
    • have driven less than 200,000km.
  • Used Hyundai vehicles outside the Factory Warranty period will become eligible if approved by Hyundai, following completion of a comprehensive appraisal inspection by an Authorised Hyundai Dealer.
  • Hyundai Hassle Free Used Vehicle Warranty means peace of mind and protection against unforeseen mechanical or electrical repair costs on warrantable parts of your pre-owned Hyundai vehicle. It covers any warrantable mechanical and electrical component manufactured or supplied by Hyundai if found to be faulty in material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance conditions.
  • This warranty will start after the factory warranty ends, or immediately if your car is outside the factory warranty period.
  • Choose from a 12, 24, or 36 month Used Vehicle Warranty for passenger vehicles and 12 and 24 month Used Vehicle Warranty for commercial vehicles.
  • The passenger vehicle warranty has no kilometre limitations as long as your vehicle has driven less than 200,000km at the time you purchase the warranty. Commercial vehicle warranties expire at 250,000km.
  • Includes 24 hour Hyundai Roadside Assistance throughout the life of the warranty.
  • Includes membership to MyHyundai, which provides free 24 hour Hyundai Roadside Assistance once you are out of your warranty contract if you update your details at least once a year on MyHyundai.

Hassle Free Used Car Warranty Details:

  • Passenger vehicle contracts feature no excess if all servicing and repairs are carried out by an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent in accordance with the Recommended Service Schedule. A $500 excess applies if not serviced by an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent.
  • Commercial vehicle contracts feature a $500 excess on all claims if all servicing and repairs are carried out by an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent. A $1,000 excess applies if not serviced by an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent.
  • A $50 pre-purchase inspection is required to be completed by an authorised Hyundai dealer for any New Zealand new vehicle that is outside the Factory warranty period, or for any imported vehicle.
  • Claim limits of $12,000 including GST apply per any one claim, inclusive of parts and labour, provided that the amount of the claim does not exceed the market value of the vehicle.
