
We have to admit, it’s nice when all the dedication, commitment, massive investment and hard work gets recognised. So we’ve been very happy with the accolades and awards that have come our way over the past several years. From our design to our engineering, from vehicle efficiency to consumer satisfaction, what we have been doing has struck a chord with the judges and delighted our customers.
Here are some of the most recent awards that we’re particularly proud of:

This independent survey was conducted by the country’s leading market research professionals, Colmar Brunton, on behalf of CANSTAR Blue. It surveyed 7.500 new-vehicle buyers on their overall satisfaction with their purchase, including value for money, reliability, after sales service, reliability and fuel
consumption. Hyundai New Zealand received five star ratings almost across the board, making it the number one brand in New Zealand.

Hyundai Motor Company regularly award their top-performing distributors around the word and in 2011 Hyundai Motors New Zealand was named number one in Asia pacific, ahead of stiff competition from the larger markets of China, Japan, Vietnam and Laos. It’s the first time we’ve won this award outright, having shared the glory with the Philippines in 2006.

The new Hyundai Elantra, released in New Zealand in June 2011, has taken top honours in the most exclusive award in North America, being named the 2012 North American Car of the Year.
A jury of 50 independent North American automotive journalists evaluated every car on the market, choosing the 2012 Hyundai Elantra as the winner. The award was announced at a news conference at the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
It marks Hyundai's second win, with the Hyundai Genesis being named North American Car of the Year in 2009.

Recently launched in New Zealand, the Hyundai Elantra has already won the AutoPacific compact car Ideal Vehicle Award, as well as the Vehicle Satisfaction Award.
The Ideal Vehicle Award was based on results from 72,000 surveys completed by owners of new cars and light trucks in the United States. It measures the expectations of owners and asks them to rate their vehicle across 15 different categories, ranging from power and acceleration to safety features and storage.
As well as picking up the AutoPacific Awards, the Elantra was also ranked number one out of eight models in the compact sedan category by US magazine Motor Trend.

Off the back of a very successful start for the i45 in New Zealand, the stunning Hyundai i45 has been named International Car of the Year.
In a testing American review, the family-favourite midsize sedan was chosen by a dozen of the world’s top motoring writers as the very best at fitting the lifestyle of its typical owner.
