The structural safety built into our vans is second to none. We build them tough, using high-tensile steel from our own steel mill. In the event of a serious impact, dual airbags instantly inflate to protect the driver and front-seat passenger. To give you a little more peace of mind, every iLoad and iMax van is equipped with its own safety pack: including a fire extinguisher, a reflective safety vest and first aid kit. |
The iLoad and iMax Van’s ESC system, an advanced standard safety feature, helps you remain in control of your vehicle during critical situations to avoid serious accidents. The ESC system achieves this by comparing the driver’s intention with the momentary vehicle behaviour, and controls the Anti-lock Braking (ABS) and Traction Control Systems (TCS) accordingly - to initiate the appropriate corrective action by selectively braking individual wheels and controlling engine power. This stabilises the vehicle and keeps it on track.
The Hyundai iLoad and iMax Van has been tested and awarded a 4-Star rating for adult occupant protection in a commercial vehicle. 4-Star ANCAP tests illustrate that all passengers can enjoy peace-of-mind motoring.
The driver and front-seat passenger in the iLoad and iMax Van are well protected. In a serious accident, the dual airbags instantly inflate, helping to protect the passenger and driver from injury.
Three sensors embedded in the rear bumper sound an alarm to warn the driver about nearby objects when reversing (standard on iMax van only).
