The new Hyundai Accent Hatch & Sedan offers all the convenience you expect from a small car. But what sets the Accent apart, is that it is packed with state-of-the-art technologies, loads of comfort, advanced levels of safety and plenty of room. The overall Hyundai concept of fluidic sculpture means this modern, athletic and aerodynamic new hatch stands out in a crowd.

Find out about a new Hyundai before you buy, from an owner in your neck of the woods. Or, if you love your Hyundai already, spread the word. It’s easy.
The new Hyundai Accent is something rare: a 1.6 litre hatch or sedan with a touch of class - combining fluid lines with chiseled curves once reserved for cars costing much more.
The new Accent’s wide radiator grille, integrated fog-lights and headlights curve harmoniously into the sides and continue the Accent’s rakish sporty image.
The space available is hard to believe. The Accent's front and rear shoulder room is the best in the compact class. But it’s the legroom that stretches credibility. It has been increased by 49mm. That’s like being upgraded from economy to business class. It looks sharp too, with high-gloss black and metallic colouring. And the boot is enormous.
Brilliantly, Hyundai has figured out how to create engines that generate more power while using less fuel and keeping emissions low. The Accent’s engines are proof of this. The Gamma 1.6 CVVT petrol engine shows misery fuel-consumption – just 6.4 litres/100km. The 1.6 U2VGT diesel engine is even more frugal with a figure 5.6 litre/100km.
Houses should be as safe as the Hyundai Accent. There are many unseen safety features: the high-tensile steel cage, six airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Stability Control, power steering, ABS and BAS, among others.
What you can see is Accent’s 5-Star ANCAP safety rating, the highest rating possible.
