Spacious, modern, and functional the i30’s interior is as good as its exterior. Comfortable seats, a leather-clad steering wheel, and high-quality soft-touch plastics with a thatched treatment. Clear instrumentation is lit by a restful blue ambience at night. This is coupled with the sweeping, gently embracing console to give the cabin a future-forward feel. Controls are all at hand and well-designed ergonomically, and the i30 boasts an impressive array of the best car safety features available. The rear seats easily accommodate two Kiwi-sized adults, or 3 boisterous children – you choose!

All our engines are efficient and powerful, it’s the mantra we stand by. They’re also durable that’s why we have one of the best car warranties of any manufacturer. The i30’s sharp performance comes in three choices; a 2.0 or 1.6 liter petrol engine, or a 1.6 turbo-diesel. All can be mated with our silky 5 speed manual transmission, with the 2.0 also available as a refined 4-speed automatic. Whatever combination you choose, the i30 hatchback gets power to its front wheels very effectively, and our advanced ESP and traction control systems keep it there. Driving the i30 you’ll find it unusually precise with a nicely weighted feel; the well designed chassis allows safe, accurate cornering.
