Child Cancer Foundation
Hyundai Motors New Zealand Ltd, 100% locally owned and operated, is a proud sponsor of the Child Cancer Foundation. Supporting one of the foundation’s key initiatives, the ‘Hyundai Wheels of Courage’ Appeal, Hyundai New Zealand has helped to raise over $2million to-date for the cause.
Hyundai Wheels of Courage is a fundraising and awareness programme that launched in November 2007, supported by Hyundai New Zealand and its nationwide dealer network. As a special programme designed to honour each brave step that a child takes on their childhood cancer journey, this year will see a Hyundai Santa Fe, kindly gifted by Hyundai, travel around Hyundai New Zealand dealerships collecting signatures of children supported by the Foundation.
Hyundai Wheels of Courage will also travel alongside the "Beads of Courage" campaign throughout the 2010 Appeal Week, from the 8th-14th of March, sharing the quest to sell 75,000 "Support Beads". At a new price of $5, all generated funds will continue to go back to the Child Cancer Foundation.
Hyundai New Zealand’s sponsorship of the Child Cancer Foundation is a further extension of its widespread and long term support for the community in New Zealand.
