Hyundai Motor Company’s all-new ix35 was officially unveiled this week. The compact sports utility vehicle has sweeping coupe-like lines, a premium vehicle feel and comes with features unavailable on its predecessor. 

"The launch of the Tucson ix in Korea, which will carry the ix35 name in the New Zealand market, has been a long awaited event and we have already seen considerable interest in the vehicle in New Zealand" Says Philip Eustace, Executive Director Hyundai New Zealand.

Hyundai Motor Co. has unveiled details of its latest diesel powerplant, the new R-Engine.  With an out standing output of 135kW and 392Nm of torque, this world class 2.0 litre unit surpasses its German and French competitors to lead the field.

Also available as a high output 2.2 litre variant with 147kW and a 436Nm, the R Engine is not only powerful but extremely clean with Euro-5 emission compliancy thanks to a diesel particulate filter that helps eliminate noxious gas.
