Best Van of the Year – Hyundai H-1 Van (iLoad)

 The four contenders for Company Vehicle and Executive Cars 2008 Best Van of the Year were the: Nissan Urvan, the Hyundai H-1 (renamed the iLoad in 2009), the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and the Volkswagen Caddy Maxi.  But according to the judges, one stood out by far for its value for money blend of safety features, functionality, driving comfort and all round ability.

"On paper the Hyundai H-1 (iLoad) was always going to be a contender (for Best Van of the Year) and in the metal it proved even better. This is a van that should give the Toyota Hiace a really good fight for market share. We needed a crowbar to get our resident white van man (Ashley Lucas) out of the driver’s seat!"
